Bitcoin Meetup | Iterating Decentralised Governance

We invited Steve Fau to talk to us about decentralised governance. He will present use case of how Ethfinex designed it's governance model and the challenges we had to overcome before evolving to DeversiFi.

He will also talk about:

• How Ethfinex found and operates DAO
• Designing governance model to align with the business goals of decentralised exchange
• Role of utility token in a DAO & is utility token really necessary?

Steve Fau has a background in traditional finance and computer science. After conducting own research in the blockchain ecosystem from late 2016, Steve finally joined Ethfinex in 2018 as a project management intern. He was soon assigned a product manager role, overseeing the development of Ethfinex Trustless - a very unique hybrid decentralised exchange product. This DEX has rapidly evolved into a core product of newly launched venture, DeversiFi, where Steve currenly serves as head of product. He is currently focusing on the UX aspect of things to bring the DeFi world closer to the masses.
